The Somaliland Society in Malaysia is a community-led, non-profit organisation that brings together Somalilanders living, studying and working across Malaysia.
Through cultural gatherings, national-day commemorations, student support and welcome programmes for new arrivals, the society works to preserve Somaliland heritage, strengthen community ties, and represent Somaliland with pride within the wider Malaysian community.
The 18 May Independence Day celebration is the society's flagship event of the year — open to members, friends, and supporters of Somaliland.
